Too Human was supposed to come out on the 29th but it would seem that all of the places I am checking today indicate a release date of today, and gamestop lists it as shipping in 24 hours so I assume the game has finally come out, aka all of you including myself need to go get a copy because the game looks really good. I am interested to see how it stacks up against mass effect...
Hey everybody, it's been a while since I posted one of these and recently sought it to be necessary. Of late I have fixed a lot of the url problems and url structure of the site and been making sure the sites been getting submitted to google and other search engines as that is very important to build traffic.
The major thing right now however is the Registration problem that I wish someone would have told me about, a lot of you did not get your emails with the temporary passwords to log into your accounts and as such can not get on the site or post or do anything. That is being addressed as we speak, if the problem cannot be fixed I will simply remove that requirement and let you all make your own passwords and just start posting. The email notification is simply to fight off spam users from making accounts.
I admit that I haven't been playing enough of my 360, but with Braid and Geometry Wars 2 released I may just have some new reasons to play it again. The new wars takes a refreshing new take on the original remake(lol), but the highlight is the multiple player modes where you can take on the evils of math with your friends.
If your a fan of the original you need the second one, it's just as intense if not more intense and a lot of fun to play with your buddies because now they don't have to just sit and watch you crush there scores :).
Anyone else out there been on the new Geometry Wars yet? I also set up a poll because I think it's god damn important.
Well imagine that, G4 has an award show and gives some awards to some games that did nothing new and innovative and someone probably watched it. The biggest upset of course would be game of the year, and just so no one stumbles on this article:

Halo 3 offered practically nothing new in terms of gaming innovation and joy. What ever happened to giving awards to games that do things originally and creatively? Oh yeah thats right a bunch of douchebags in plaid shorts is what happened. G4 is epic foul, and I am just flat out mad, if you care to know who else got there dumb awards look it up, because I don't care to go on there lame site :).
Not really sure why but apparently this was shot at the 2007? Jump Festa so that means this trailer is a year old and yet it is so fire. I realize it was posted up a few days ago but I just saw it so maybe other of you haven't seen it either:
Video is awesome all CG, good battle scenes and looks like a car will be our transportation, I really hope they let us drive around I am so sick of this linear bs that has been going on of late with RPG games, though Lost Odyssey does let you fly around I just miss walking and driving on the surface, call me old fashion :/. We see a lot of interaction with the two characters and appear to be shown some of the enemies and what looks like the Turks so in all a blaze trailer.
As I am sure all you PS3 fanboys are jumping around for joy at that news it may actually be worse for both the 360 and PS3 boys that development hasn't started for the 360. If the game has a simultaneous console release in America or Europe than that means delays across the board for fans of the upcoming title. This shouldn't be a problem in Japan however because the title is only being released on the Playstation 3 in that region.
This does sort of bother me that they are waiting till the very end to port it, but at least that means that 100% is going into simply finishing the project. However if it's anything like say Bioshock, its going to take a while to port, hopefully they put a lot more effort into porting it as hastily as possible.
It would seem the DK Σ3713 Party has a bit more information to offer that I guess I must have missed. 1up.com is reporting that with the news of Final Fantasy 13 going to both the PS3 and Xbox 360, Square will be giving the PS3 users only (clearly because there the only ones with a blu-ray player,) a demo of Final Fantasy 13 with their purchase of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
However the said release of Advent Children is estimated around March 2009... so in any case everyone loses because damn that is so far away :(. But like the editor at 1up suggested, that doesn't really mean the 360 couldn't get a downloadable demo, we'll just have to wait and see.
I made a post the other day addressing the state of Unlimited Gamer, I decided that I really liked the idea of a weekly/bi-weekly update of whats going on with UG.
So yeah this is the beginning to a hopefully long lasting series called state of affairs, it will also help me be more productive and allow you guys to give me some direct feedback.
- Whats been done on the site regarding function? First we got the comments and the pictures/avatars working in the news comments. I have also removed direct replies to users so that we prevent the floating of comments under the navigations. The forum styling as started but I wasn't really in the mood to mess with it so it's not done yet.
- I have got a new image module to allow me to post pictures up real nice and this doesn't really do anything for the user's it's just more of me reminding myself I got something to work :).
- I enabled posting on the forums since I was retarded and had that disabled.
More media still pouring in from the Private Square-Enix event. This time around I got some more artwork for you guys this time directly related to Final Fantasy 13. There is one more shot but I figured you can't see crap anyway so I doubt you guys care. Below are the 3 good shots of summons that will appear in the upcoming Final Fantasy Title. The other day a friend of mine imed me on AIM and asked me if I was excited about the 360 Fall update, to which I replied, "why the hell do I care?" Alternatively now after looking at this avatar creator I am a bit excited after all. I know the Wii has been able to do it forever, but who said just because it takes you a while to get it out that you shouldn't put the product out.
The custom avatars is always a tight idea and allows the user to a feel a little more unique and creative among the millions of other gamers in the world. What does bother me is that these do seem like upgrade mii's and I am not sure how legit that is because they seem to just be ripping Nintendo off and then adding some extra bits. Either way I like the idea and hopefully they utilize it in a cool way.
